Barely six weeks have passed since our official launch, and we’re so pleased that organizations across Canada have recognized the benefits and signed-up to receive their payments online.
We’d like to welcome the latest:
· British Columbia (Ridge Meadows Minor Hockey)
· Alberta (Spruce View Minor Hockey)
· Ontario (Brockville Minor Hockey and Almonte-Pakenham Minor Hockey)
Mark McGlynn, the Treasurer of Brockville Minor Hockey based in Eastern Ontario, provided the following feedback.
We’ve been collecting fees forever by cheques and cash, but had been on the look-out for an online solution. The available options were too expensive, so PlayPay’s low processing rate first caught our attention. The sign-up process was a breeze, and the company is really enthusiastic about helping us in any way they can – from technical questions to ideas about how best to communicate to our membership about their payment service. Our whole executive is excited that we finally have an online payment solution for our parents, but also for the convenience and efficiency of our volunteer efforts. We’re starting registration next month, and really looking forward to the benefits of using PlayPay.
We’re humbled by such feedback and it continues to fuel our passion for providing an efficient, easy-to-use and super cost-effective payment solution. We truly feel that grassroots community-based sports organizations should not have to shoulder the same fees as for-profit businesses to collect payments online. We’re glad to see that so many agree.
